Accessibility statement

I want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their technology, ability or situation. The site has been designed and built with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, aiming for level AA.

Text is set at readable sizes with strong colour contrast. Pages can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to jump straight to the main content. Images carry alternative text, forms have proper labels, and the site works with screen readers and browser zoom.

Content is written in plain language, because accessibility includes comprehension, not only technology.

This is a small, carefully built site, but accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. Some decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology by design, and older content formats may occasionally fall short of the standard I aim for.
